It was a beautiful sunny day, my 240D passed inspection and I put my summer tires back on the GTI.
Pictured above is the hubcentric spacers for my winter wheels. I was worried about these being incredibly difficult to remove. Nope. They slid right off no problem.
Winters off.
Summers on.

Do you have all-season touring or actual summer tires? Been debating whether I want to put up the cash to replace my "summer" all season tires with legit ones

They are dedicated summers . I actually didn't mean to buy these ones. There is an Eagle F1 all season as well, but I wasn't paying attention when ordered/installed/drove on for many months. When I figured it out I decided to buy a dedicated set of winter wheels/tires.

My MINI is my first experience with hub centric. The first time I tried to take the wheels off they absolutely wanted no part of it. It took several tries over a couple days to get the rears off. Finally got them by sitting back and kicking at them with both legs, hard. They were rusted on pretty good. Put a little grease on the hubs and no problems since.
